San Angelo-Producers Auction sold 1475 head of cattle this week. Compared with last week’s sale, calves and yearlings sold firm to $1.00 higher. Strong demand continues for choice calves and yearlings. Slaughter cows and bulls also sold firm to $1.00 higher.
Better Quality Steers: 400-600 lbs 98.00-114.00, choice 4 & 5 weights 115.00-133.00, 600-800 lbs 92.00-102.00, choice 6 weights 103.00-109.00
Heifers: 400-600 lbs 92.00-106.00, choice 4 & 5 weights 107.00-117.00, 600-800 lbs 84.00-94.00 choice 6 weights 95.00-97.00
Slaughter Cows: average to high yielding 47.00-57.00
Slaughter Bulls: average to high yielding 58.00-66.00

San Angelo-Producers Auction had 5687 head of sheep and goats on hand for sale this week. Feeder lambs sold strong. Slaughter lambs were $10.00 to $20.00 lower. Slaughter ewes were $3.00 to $5.00 lower. Kid goats were $10.00 to $20.00 lower.
Feeder lambs- new crops $135.00 to $140.00, old crops $115.00 to $125.00
Slaughter Lambs- heavies $105.00-$125.00, light weights $130.00-$166.00
Slaughter Ewes- fleshy $55.00-$76.00, and thin ewes $25.00-$50.00
Kid Goats- $100.00-$196.00, mostly $130.00-$160.00
The weather cleared up and we sold almost twice as many as we have been selling and the market backed off in spots.
